Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at the First Niagara bank branch at 251 State Street at about 9:45 this morning.

A man entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money. The man implied that he had a gun, but none was displayed. The teller complied with the manís demand and gave him an amount of money that is not being disclosed at this time. The man then left the bank and was last seen riding a mountain bike eastbound on Liberty Street.

No one was injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male, 6í tall, thin build, black hair and a scruffy beard. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark baseball cap w/ a light-colored emblem or lettering on the front, a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

He is possibly the same man who robbed the Key Bank at 436 State Street on August 15th.
