reportedly occurred inside his garage at about 10:20 Wednesday evening.

Alfred Cohn, of 13 Marshall Avenue, told officers that 2 black males jumped him, bound him with duct tape and beat him. He also said he was pistol-whipped, robbed of a small amount of money, his cell phone and house keys, and then shot in the leg. The bullet traveled through both of Cohnís legs. The men then fled southbound on Marshall in a silver or gray mid-size car with tinted windows. They have not been located.

Cohn was treated at the scene by Schenectady Fire Department paramedics and transported to Ellis Hospital for further treatment. His injuries are not life threatening.
