SUBJECT:15 WOMEN ARRESTED IN WEEKLONG PROSTITUTION SWEEP

Fifteen women have been arrested on misdemeanor prostitution charges as a result of a weeklong joint initiative conducted by the Department’s Vice Squad and Patrol Division, and New York State Police CNET-Capital. The sweep was conducted in the Hamilton Hill and O’Dell Street neighborhoods, and was part of the Department’s continuing effort to combat prostitution activity and improve the quality of life in those neighborhoods.
