SUBJECT:MAN ARRESTED IN DUNKINí DONUTS ROBBERY

A 37-year-old Ballston Spa man has been arrested for robbing a Dunkiní Donuts shop this morning.

Kenneth Bond, of 900 Rock City Road, entered the Dunkiní Donuts shop at Broadway and Congress Street at about 11 this morning, and gave the male clerk a note announcing the robbery and demanding money. The clerk complied and gave Bond money from the cash register. Bond then the fled store and ran east on Congress. The clerk followed Bond and called Police Communications from his cell phone. Responding officers apprehended Bond on nearby Third Avenue.

The clerk was not injured in the incident.

Bond is charged with the felony of Robbery-3rd degree. He is being held at Schenectady Police Headquarters and will be arraigned in Police Court on Saturday morning.
