SUBJECT:BLACK MUSTANG SOUGHT AFTER STRIKING BICYCLIST / FLEEING

The publicís help is requested in locating the driver of a black mustang after he struck a 48-year old Mont Pleasant man on Saturday evening and then fled the scene.

The incident occurred at about 7:15 p.m. at the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Webster Street. Jeremy Piurowski was riding his bike north on Sixth Avenue and crossing Webster when the car, possibly operated by a black male and traveling east on Webster, struck him. The car then fled north on Sixth. Piurowski was treated for facial injuries at the scene by Schenectady Fire Department paramedics and transported to Ellis Hospital.
