SUBJECT:LIEUTENANT BRIAN KILCULLEN ELEVATED TO PRIMARY PIO

Chief Michael Geraci is pleased to announce that Lieutenant Brian Kilcullen has been selected as the Departmentís new primary Public Information Officer/Spokesperson, succeeding Captain Pete Frisoni.

Lieutenant Kilcullen is a 13-1/2 year veteran and has served as a secondary PIO for nearly 4-1/2 years. He will assume his new role this Sunday, September 2nd. In addition to his PIO duties, Lt. Kilcullen is commander of the daytime patrol shift.

Captain Frisoni, who was promoted to his current rank in May, has been the Departmentís primary PIO for 5 years. He is currently second-in-command of the Investigative Services Bureau and the responsibilities of his position precluded him from continuing as PIO.

Officer Christopher Wrubel has also been selected as a secondary PIO. He is a 16-1/2 year veteran who is currently assigned to the Traffic Services Division on the day shift.

Officer Kevin Green will continue as the other secondary PIO.
