SUBJECT:SUNDAY ROAD RACE TO CAUSE MAJOR TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

This Sunday – November 11th – the 32th annual “Stockade-athon” road race will be held in the city and will cause severe traffic restrictions between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Over 1,000 runners are expected to participate in the race.

The ability for motorists to travel north and south in the city will be very limited between Washington Avenue and McClellan Street. Therefore, drivers should plan an alternate route.

The following routes that will be impacted are:

* State St., between Washington Ave. and Brandywine Ave.
* Erie Blvd. from Nott St. to State St.
* Brandywine Ave. from State St. to Rugby Rd.
* Nott St., between Erie Blvd. and Grand Blvd.
* McClellan St., between State St. and Grand Blvd.
* Grand Blvd., between McClellan St. and Nott St.
* Front St., between Erie Blvd. and Washington Ave.
* Bradley Blvd., between Brandywine and Elm St.
* Fehr Ave., between Central Pkwy. and Ashmore Rd.
* Central Pkwy.
* Seward Place

Drivers should keep in mind that streets intersecting those listed will also be affected.
